Main Ingredients: Stearic acid, glycerin, beeswax
Main Concerns Targeted: Appearance of pores, skin texture
Review:
This is a cult J-Beauty classic that is known for being an affordable, entryway product into J-Beauty. It claims to remove dirt and impurities while evening out skin texture and minimising the appearance of pores in the process. The lather the foam creates is also quite thick and luxurious. However, I found this to be way too stripping on my dry skin even if it is promoted as a product for oily skin. My skin felt tight and parched immediately after washing it off and I had to immediately bring back moisture into my skin with a hydrating skincare product to offset the moisture that was whisked away. This line also has a collagen version which I saw reviews saying was hydrating but it was as stripping for me, sadly.
Would I Recommend:
No. You may want to give it a try if you have oily or very oily skin. But stay away if you have dehydrated or dry skin. There are other gentle, hydrating alternatives in Asian beauty that are affordable. The super affordable price tag does make this alluring but save your money to spend on other gems in J-beauty.
