I had actually never thought to use this product until I received it as a gift for Christmas and decided to use it as my regular night time cleanser. And boy, had I underestimated this product. I have only tried the ultra facial cream from this line which I did enjoy but it is not a product I have repurchased. Hence, I did not have high expectations for this. However, this product did such a good job at cleansing my skin without making it feel stripped but also providing a thorough cleanse. I often have a problem of my skin feeling tight and dry before I apply anything to my skin after a cleanse. However, this helped keep my natural oils intact such that I don’t have the stripping sensation until I finish my evening shower and apply skincare on my face. It also does a good job of removing SPF on days I have not worn makeup and only had sunscreen on. Works well with my cleansing oils for double cleanse as well.
Would I recommend:
Yes. The price point is competitive for a brand that does not belong to the drugstore and is considered mid range to high end. And you also get 150ml of product for the full size which would last you a good amount of time. It’s priced pretty competitively as opposed to other option at Sephora kind of retailers. And in my opinion, it would likely work for all skin tones. I did not notice any fragrance while using it. If that is something that you deem important, you can do a check on that or patch test before using.
