Review
As VT and their reedle shot were gaining popularity in Korea and reviews of it started flooding my social media, I also noticed people raving about this product albeit to a smaller extent. I mainly saw reviews of it on Arang’s YouTube channel (she is a makeup artist in Korea who also posts skincare content on her channel) and she was mentioning how this product blew her mind. I have tried it with and without the reedle shot in my routine and my dry skin absolutely drinks this up. The product has a milky consistency that is not too runny that has some weight to it. It leaves a healthy, pearlescent glow and plumps your skin. It does claim to have wrinkle care properties however I would say take that with a pinch of salt. I feel like ageing related concerns are best addressed with retinol and hydration. However, the hydration this product provides may provide some visible improvements in less severe wrinkles as the skin is more supple and doesn’t hold the wrinkle it previously did. Now having finished my first bottle of the product, I would say it supplements my night moisturiser well in terms of hydration and helps boost the effects of the rest of my skincare. I do notice hyperpigmentation concerns getting tackled a little more quickly whenever I’m consistently using the PDRN in my routine. As the molecular weight of the formula is low, it can penetrate deeper into your skin and it does not contain many active ingredients that could irritate your skin. It also helps with maintaining or boosting your skin barrier health with its deep level hydration properties.
Would I Recommend
Yes, 100%. I would say if you have oilier skin you can use less of it if the glow it leaves behind bothers you. The price is also competitive compared to other PDRN products in the market. I feel like everyone would benefit from having such a product in their routine. As wild ginseng is used over salmon sperm in this vegan concoction of PDRN, folks who are put off by the salmon sperm formulation of PDRN by other brands can try this instead. Sensitive skin folks need not be intimidated by it either as it isn’t packed with active ingredients that could irritate the skin. However, please patch test if you are concerned!
You can get this at Olive Young Global and Shopee.
