Main Ingredients: Heartleaf, matcha, sodium PCA
Main Concerns Targeted: Gently remove impurities and light makeup
Review:
This iteration of the beloved Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating cleanser was launched in Singapore and some of the neighbouring countries when Krave Beauty was launched at Sephora in the market. As hemp in cosmetics is not permitted in some of the countries, this was the alternative consumers could purchase. I have used both as I had access to the hemp version in the US. I would say this leaves a little bit more of a film to the skin that took me a few uses to get used to and not want to over wash my face. The texture is also largely similar but the Heartleaf version feels a tad thicker than the hemp version if I remember that correctly. It does remove sunscreen and cleans your skin gently without overly stripping it. I do feel like the hemp version was slightly more hydrating but they both perform well with respect to preserving the skinās natural oils.
Would I Recommend:
No, if you have access to the hemp version. The hemp version was a holy grail of mine for a while especially as a morning cleanser and I really loved the texture and it left my skin. I also think that when the hemp version was launched, there didnāt seem to be many major competitors at a similar price point that gave such a nourishing but thorough cleanse which really made the product stand out to me. However, now that there are good alternatives from K-Beauty and with the user experience not quite being the same for me, I wouldnāt opt to repurchase this unless necessary.
