Review
This is a product that I have often seen claims that K-Pop hair stylists love to use on idols. While I am not fully sure if that is true, it peaked my interest enough to try the product. I have colour treated hair that has fine to medium thickness and has straight to wavy consistency. I tend to have dryness on the lower half of my hair that is mostly bleached and I do encounter frizz and tangles time to time. I am always on the hunt for products that deeply nourish my hair without making it feel weighed down or greasy while keeping it healthy. Asian haircare products tend to be hit or miss for me as East Asians tend to have thicker hair and the haircare products tend to cater to that. However, sometimes such formulations weigh down my hair too much as my hair is not as thick as most East Asians. This product, however, seemed to be an exception. The consistency resembles a cream that is not overly emollient but has a good weight to it. It spreads effortless through the lower half of my hair. I usually take about 2 dollops and that is sufficient for me to generously work into my hair before sealing it off with a little bit of hair oil so the hydration is locked in. It did not weigh down my hair and made my hair feel considerably softer and healthier to touch. Over time, I also noticed my hair feeling less brittle and healthier and as such, this has become a staple in my routine. I alternate between this or the Olaplex no 6 for an intensive, deeply hydrating leave in treatment. The amount you use can easily be customised according to your hair needs and it also helps protect hair when styling with hot tools which is always an added bonus to not need to use an additional product for that purpose.
Would I Recommend
Yes, absolutely. If you have very oily hair that does not need a leave in conditioner, you may not even require such a product and a simple hair oil may be more than enough to use once in a while. However, if you experience any kind of dryness or frizz or need that extra boost of nourishment and hydration for your hair, give this a try. I think it is competitively priced compared to products found at Sephora even though it works just as well.
You can get this at Amore Mall Global, Amazon or Shopee.
