Review
Jordan Samuel Skin is a brand I found out about through Glow By Ramon on Instagram and this was the first product I tried from the brand. This is a cleanser marketed for sensitive skin that claims to remove makeup (even full glam), SPF and any other impurities on the skin. The consistency is in between that of a gel cleanser and a cleansing balm. It is somewhat similar to the Krave Beauty Makeup Rewined or Troiareuke ACSEN Oil Cut Cleansing but thicker in consistency which almost resembles a balm but feels more malleable. You are supposed to apply it to dry skin and work it into your skin and then wash off. I found the formulation to be very soft and hydrating when applying to my skin. I did not use it to remove full glam makeup but I had no issues removing SPF and light makeup thoroughly with this product. It also does not strip my natural oils after washing off which is sometimes a problem I encounter with my dry skin. I feel like this would also work well with irritated skin with compromised skin barrier to get a good cleanse without leaving the skin stripped and further irritated. It is a product that is easy to use and very elegant in consistency and performance. I donāt think I have really tried a similar product that is also able to remove makeup well enough so this has peaked my curiosity with the brand and I would be purchasing more in the near future to try out.
Would I Recommend
Yes, absolutely. I feel all skin types could benefit from this product but especially dry, sensitive or dehydrated skin. The product does not seem to contain any fragrance when I briefly checked the ingredients list and there was no visible fragrance I noticed while using the product either. This could even be a one stop cleanser for some if you are only wearing SPF or you could use the same product twice to double cleanse and your skin would still not feel dried out or irritated. As always, do patch test if you are concerned about irritations. As this seems like a smaller brand, I do wish this product gets more hype and reach in time.
You can get this on Cult Beauty or Amazon.
