Review
This product needs no introduction especially to those who consume skincare related content on social media. After having finished the bottle I had purchased in merely 3 months, I can safely say this is a solid, affordable serum. If you want to have some physical exfoliation, you can rub the product against your skin and small bits of dead skin cells will come off. Or you could opt to use it as a hydrating serum to layer with your skincare morning and/or night. Do remember to wipe off residue if you use it as a physical exfoliant before following up with your remaining skincare products. This works well under makeup as well. The viscous texture is very much reminiscent of snail mucin but has plant based alternatives as its ingredients. It absorbs easily into the skin but it does leave a dewy finish which people with oilier skin type may not prefer. Hence I would recommend oilier skin types to use lesser product and see how it layers on your skin first. However, for dry skin, on the other hand, the boost of hydration compliments the rest of the skincare to leave skin supple and bouncy.
Would I recommend?
Yes. If snail mucin irritates your skin or would like a vegan alternative, this would be a great option for you. It is also a 2 in 1 product which makes it more multi purpose over snail mucin options in the market. Also being relatively affordable for a serum, it is hard to beat especially for a hydrating and gently exfoliating option.
You can get this from YesStyle, Olive Young Global or Shopee.
